This blog brought back so many really good memories. My grandmother used to have a cupboard literally filled with fabrics of all kinds. She had ALOT of ticking (the thin stripe cotton fabric used for mattresses and sheeting years ago). Ticking is MY best! I love it. Goes with anything and if it was good enough for my grandmother - who was my hero - it's good enough for me! Thanks SO much. xxx
